Terms of service

The short version: fixed fees, no surprise charges, and nothing filed without your approval.

Our service

We prepare your statutory year-end accounts and CT600 corporation tax return from the records you provide, and file them with Companies House and HMRC once you have approved them. Additional services such as confirmation statements or director self-assessment are included only where stated in your package.

Fees and package assessment

Packages are fixed price and paid upfront. There are no deadline, priority or late-filing surcharges.

The package you choose at sign-up is based on your own description of the company. Once your records arrive, your accountant reviews them and confirms whether that package fits. If the work clearly falls into a higher package, we will email you the reason and the exact difference in price. You are free to approve it, discuss it with us, or decline. Nothing further is charged without your approval, and if you decline we will refund your original fee less any work already completed at your request.

Turnaround

Our standard turnaround is 10 working days from receipt of all required information. Where information is delayed, incomplete or requires clarification, the clock restarts from the point we receive what we asked for. We will always tell you what is outstanding.

Your responsibilities

You confirm that you are a director of the company or otherwise authorised to appoint an accountant on its behalf. You are responsible for providing complete and accurate records and for approving the final figures before we file. Legal responsibility for the accuracy of statutory filings remains with the company's directors.

Anti-money laundering

We are required by law to verify the identity of our clients. We may pause work until identity checks are complete, and we may decline or end an engagement where we cannot complete them.

Refunds and cancellation

If you are not satisfied with the work before we file, tell us and we will refund your fee in full. Once accounts have been filed on your approval, the fee is non-refundable.

Liability

We carry professional indemnity insurance. Our liability for any claim arising from an engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement, except where liability cannot be limited by law. We are not liable for penalties arising from information supplied late, incorrectly or not at all.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
