Companies House and HMRC, in order to file on your behalf; your previous accountant, where you have asked us to request professional clearance; and vetted service providers who host our systems, send our emails and process card payments. All providers act under contract and only on our instructions.
Accounting and tax records are retained for at least six years after the end of the accounting period they relate to, as required by law. Identity verification records are kept for five years after our relationship ends. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.
Documents are stored encrypted, access is restricted to the small team working on your engagement, and all access is logged. We review our controls regularly.
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not legally required to keep it, object to certain processing, or ask us to transfer it. Email info@companytaxes.co.uk and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with our response you can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
